Moonlight Jasmine Ombre Bars (Recipe)
Base
idea: gentle
color gradient with romantic jasmine scent.
Ingredients:
- 500 g white melt-and-pour base
- 8–10 g jasmine
fragrance oil (EO is usually very strong and expensive)
- ½ tsp blue or lilac
mica, to be added gradually
Ombre steps:
- Melt the entire base and add
the jasmine fragrance. Stir well.
- Divide the scented melted soap
into 4 heat-safe cups (~125 g each).
- Leave the first portion uncolored (very
pale).
- Into the second cup, add
a tiny pinch of mica (e.g., ⅛ tsp); stir.
- Into the third, add a bit more
mica; into the fourth, the most, so you have 4 progressively deeper
shades.
- Pour the lightest soap into the
mold and let it thicken slightly.
- Carefully pour the next darker
layer on top. Repeat until all four layers are poured.
Spritz with alcohol and let set fully before cutting.
